Aberdeen Public Fireworks Displays 2026: Here are 10 Bonfire Night events to enjoy in and around the Granite City

Going to an organised display is cheaper and safer than setting off fireworks in your back garden.
It’s nearly time for Bonfire Night, when we ‘remember, remember the fifth of November’ and Guy Fawkes’ gunpowder plot to blow up the House of Lords in 1605.
One of the ways the occasion is traditionally marked is by setting off fireworks, but in recent years the colourful pyrotechnics have increasingly caused issues in towns and cities.
From antisocial behaviour and injuries, to terrified dog and Firework Control Zones (FCZs), they have all too often made the headlines for negative reasons.
That’s why police and fire services now recommend that people go to an organised display rather than buying fireworks to set off in the garden.
And it’s worth remembering that it’s against the law to set off fireworks in public areas, including parks.
So, if you want to enjoy fireworks this week, here are 10 displays in and around Aberdeen you can enjoy in 2026.
